Colonics & Juice: Supporting Your Gut

Colonics & Juice: Supporting Your Gut

Gut health is something we talk about a lot at Juice Institute because when your gut feels good, everything feels better.

Recently, I spoke with Lily from Adelaide Colonic Health to learn more about why people turn to colonics, and how they can support overall wellbeing.

Here’s what she shared.

Why do people have colonics?
Many people seek colonics due to constipation, from mild to more severe cases. Others may experience a sluggish or “lazy” bowel, where the body needs extra support to move waste effectively.

It’s also common for people on certain medications to experience digestive slowdowns, which can lead them to explore colonics.

Bloating, discomfort and even parasites are other reasons people come in, while some simply incorporate regular sessions as part of their ongoing wellness routine.

How can colonics support digestion and wellbeing?
Colonics work by helping to remove built-up waste from the colon.

After a session, the body is often in a more receptive state, which is why nourishing with fresh, cold-pressed juice can be so beneficial.

Because juice requires minimal digestion, nutrients are easily absorbed, helping to gently replenish and support the body.

Simple ways to support your gut at home
Supporting your gut doesn’t need to be complicated.

  • Stay well hydrated
  • Include fresh, cold-pressed juice regularly
  • Keep things simple and consistent

Cold-pressed juice is essentially liquid nourishment making it an easy way to support your body without adding digestive stress.

Thank you to Lily for taking the time to chat with us. Lily and Adelaide Colonic Health have been close partners of Juice Institute for many years. We proudly recommend their services, and Lily shares our cold-pressed juices with her clients after every session.

At Juice Institute, we believe in simple, supportive habits that help you feel your best, and gut health is a big part of that.

If you’re looking for an easy place to start, adding fresh juice into your routine is one of the most accessible ways to begin.
