Green Juice - Why we love it!

Green Juice - Why we love it!

We are huge fans of green juice! We love it so much that we’ve made it an integral element of our cleanse bundles. These antioxidant rich, nutrient dense jars of liquid goodness are super healthy, incredibly tasty and great for your body. We think everyone should add a green juice to their daily ritual – it’s a great way to start your day!

As green juices contain several serves of green vegetables, fruit and herbs – all condensed into a single jar, they are packed with many health benefits for our bodies. With a wide variety of green and leafy vegetables – including spinach, broccoli, kale, celery, mint and parsley, your body will love you for its daily energy boost! Who needs that morning cup of coffee? Not us!

When juice cleansing and abstaining from solid food the plant nutrients are rapidly absorbed into our bodies to be used to deeply nourish your cells (nutrients in liquid are more easily assimilated). Drinking our greens promotes alkalinity within our bodies, promoting a strong immune system, increased energy and fights against fatigue.

We love these greens which are the stars of a green juices:

Kale. One of the most nutrient-dense plants on the planet with Vitamins, A, C and K, plus it contains antioxidants such as lutein and beta-carotene. Kale is also rich in iodine which is important for metabolism.

Spinach. One is the most popular leafy vegetables with Vitamins A & K, manganese, and folate which aids in inflammation and regeneration.

Broccoli. Another popular green vegetable which is packed with protein, amino acids, Vitamins C & K, folate, manganese, potassium and phosphorus.

Celery. Its an anti-inflammatory, providing natural sodium and hydration to the body and helps to completely alkalize the digestive system.

Flat Leaf Parsley. A strong flavour but we work the perfect balance into our Oh My Greens.  Vitamin A, B, C and K are all found in abundance in our fresh herbs.

Mint. An aromatic herb, which is refreshing and replenishing, Mint is incredibly high in Vitamins A, and C along with minerals calcium and Iron.

These greens are full of important nutrients that are critical for good health. By juicing these green superstars, we are able to load our bodies with more of their essential nutrients than we could possible eat. When cold pressed into a delicious green juice they are rich sources of antioxidants, nutrients, essential vitamins and minerals, amino acids, nitrates and Chlorophyll – everything your body needs to be happy and healthy!

Did you know that our cold pressed green juice takes approximately 1kg of fresh produce to make our 467ml juice jars? That a whole lot of goodness in one jar! Visit our shop to see our juice range and feel the difference of freshly pressed plants. You’ll love it, we promise!
